Enliten has announced its annual release and sale for Black Friday. The release has over 20 new additions, including women’s apparel for the first time in company history.

The new release features a collection of basics with their iconic logo and name on t-shirts, pocket tees, hoodies, and crew neck sweatshirts. To accentuate, the crewneck sweaters have detailed stitching across the lateral body and cross stitching at the neckline. For women, V-necks and crew necks are now available for purchase with the other apparel in shop. In addition, A new design collaboration features the first line of a song from Enliten Elite sponsored rapper, Prince Ea, “Get Your Mind Right.” The design follows a backwards design, inspired by Prince Ea’s new theme seen in his most popular video, “Backwards Rappers.” Other collaborations with DyMe-A-DuZiN and Amerikas Addiction are newly available in shop.

“The new, higher quality sweatshirt designs are something we are very proud of,” said Alec Nelson, co-owner of the Enliten brand. “We are changing the dynamics of our audience and our variety. We have had a lot of requests to expand to the women’s market and it seems like an ideal time for us. Right now, we are elevating every standard we have.”

Though many changes towards expansion are currently underway in the Enliten company, their popular designs of the past are still available to shoppers this weekend. The sale will be open to consumers from Black Friday through Cyber Monday. Exclusively for the weekend, the entire shop will be 20% off. As well, Enliten has redesigned their online shop for shoppers to have a cleaner and easier experience navigating in the future. Customers will now be available to accumulate reward points, check order history and status, use promo codes, and much more. If not enough, the shopping benefits will extend beyond Black Friday. For all orders over $60, shipping will be free of charge.

Nike Basketball Air Max LeBron VII NFW “Red Carpet” Quickstrike.

The colorway on these new LeBron shoes are pretty cool looking. I like how the front of each shoe says either “twenty” or “three”.  I like these new LeBron’s a lot better than the new Jordan shoes.

“Nike’s innovative yet simplistic Flywire technology has seen itself at the center of numerous high-performance sneakers from Nike since its inception. However a trend that has seen itself over a few different performance basketball sneakers has included the NFW treatment, designated as No Flywire. The original LeBron VII is for the most part a Flywire sneaker as this special release does away with the lightweight, supportive material in favor of a woven pattern. The colorway is reminsicent of some of the “Clearwater” drops seen earlier this year from the lifestyle department of Nike with the use of blue-green with white and black colors. A Bathing Ape Skullsta Cookie.

New style of BAPE shoes, the toes kind of remind me of old-school Adidas.

Gucci Icon: Temporary Pop-Up Sneaker Stores.

Clothing and shoe brand ‘Gucci’ will try something new.  They are going to be opening “Six to seven marquee “tastemaker” events”, which are just going to be temporary stores to sell their shoes/clothes at.

This is all because of the hard economic times, as they are trying different ways to cut costs but keep a buzz about their products.  They plan for the stores to be around for only a few weeks, but they do have some special shoes designed for the stores.

“Like other luxury retailers in the recession, Gucci is looking for high-impact, lower-cost methods of generating interest in the brand, especially among style leaders who may not be moved by conventional forms of advertising.

Gucci Icon-Temporary is that method. The flash sneaker store will touch down in six or seven locations around the world where tastemakers gather, such as Art Basil Miami Beach, staying open for two or three weeks in each spot. The first stop on the tour will be Crosby Street in SoHo on Oct. 23. Other stops will include London, Berlin, Paris, Hong Kong and Tokyo.

Gucci Icon-Temporary units will feature 18 exclusive sneaker styles — 16 for men and two for women. Incorporating classic Gucci design elements such as the GG logo and a stylized version of the Gucci red-and-green web detail, each shoe has an embroidered “Limited Edition” label inside and a silver or gold metal dog tag hanging from the laces. Leather tags on shoe laces can be customized and embossed with a shopper’s initials.

In addition to the Limited Edition shoes, Frida Giannini, Gucci’s creative director, collaborated with DJ, music producer and sneaker enthusiast Mark Ronson on the design of Gucci Ronson sneakers. A new Gucci Ronson version will be introduced at every leg of the itinerant project. Icon-Temporary sneakers are priced from $500 to $1,400, and Gucci Ronson shoes, $500 to $600.”

The Hundreds x Brooklyn Projects Pasadena Adam Bomb T-shirt.

The black and white versions will release upon opening day at Brooklyn Projects Pasadena on Sunday, August 2nd at 12:00 pm while The blue version will drop via The Hundreds at a later date.”

Diamond Supply Co. x DVS JDUBBS Preview.

These shoes are a little far out – set for a January 2010 release, but Diamond’s last shoes were huge a few years back and I expect these to do the same.

With its iconic aqua color inspired by jewler’s Tiffany, look for the color to make its way on another upcoming collaborative effort between Diamond Supply Co. and DVS on the JDUBBS model. Aside from the bold use of aqua, a nice epi-suede detailing is incorporated into the overall design. A release isn’t slated till January, 2010 to coincide with the birthday of Nick Diamond.”

UNION NYC x PEGLEG x CASIO G-SHOCK DW-6900.

Interesting watch design. Has been called the “Uncle Sam”. oh and it’s pretty close to the best model number ever. nh.
